The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency stated it's alarmed with regards to the substantial number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The intention of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is as a result of lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The provider point produced for intervention encounters a superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough for your office to attend click here to all people who take a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more sources to help the servicing of all buyers and improve access to Social Assistance services,” the agency said.
